Door to door sales have begun, and we are hopeful that this is going to be the most successful sale in Pack history. Remember, if every scout sells just over $150 worth of popcorn, we'll make our goal!

In a perfect world, all of you have received your sales materials from your respective den's leadership, if not contact them as soon as you can.

Before we get to the details let me thank you for all the work that you put into the Show and Sell. It was a very successful program, and we are well on our way to hitting our goal of $20,000 this year.

Now it's time to hit the streets and cubicles for the rest. Our boys have from Friday October 1st until Thursday, October 27th (the night of our next pack meeting) to get out and make those sales. Commissions and donations from the popcorn sale constitute almost 2/3's of our total revenue for the fiscal year, so putting in a little effort now has long term benefits for the pack as a whole.

We have distributed sales sheets, money envelopes and "How do you sell" guides to the popcorn representatives for every den.  Contact them directly to get your sales supplies.  In addition, I have given each of them the sales logs from last year's sale to distribute to each scout that participated in 2004.  If you are new to the pack, there might be some logs that don't have a scout to go with them this year, so ask your den rep if there are any that are going unclaimed and have addresses in your neighborhood.
